Privacy Policy (draft)

Draft for review. This describes the marketing website and is not the privacy policy for the FleetOptimus app.

Information you enter

When you use the contact form, we receive and store the details you enter: your name, company, work email, number of trucks, the plan you are interested in and your optional message. We also store that you agreed to this use, when, the version of the consent wording and the website address you submitted from. A notification email with these details is sent to [email protected] so the team can reply. Please do not include credentials, banking details, or driver or identity documents in the message.

To limit abuse, the form uses a hidden field and may use a security check from Cloudflare Turnstile. We count recent attempts using a salted one-way hash of your network address; we do not store the address itself and we do not write form contents or email addresses to our logs. If the form is not available, the contact page can instead prepare an email in your own email app; nothing is sent until you send it.

Website storage and measurement

The website code sets no cookies and includes no advertising or analytics provider. The contact form keeps a random request ID in your browser's session storage, only to prevent duplicate submissions, until the form is sent or the tab is closed; it does not save what you type. Hosting infrastructure may process technical information such as IP addresses and request logs to serve the website.

Email and the app

Contact-form submissions are stored in a database used only for website enquiries, hosted on Cloudflare, and are sent as email notifications through Resend. This is separate from the app and its data. Email messages are handled by your email provider and the FleetOptimus business inbox. The app at app.fleetoptimus.com is a separate service with separate data-handling requirements. Do not include credentials or sensitive driver, banking or identity documents in an introductory email.
